Join us on a musical journey through the night, into the morning, and through the following evening. There are rich pickings for lovers of Baroque music, including classic madrigals such as John Wilbye’s Draw on Sweet Night and Claudio Monteverdi’s Sfogava con le stelle. The programme also contains more recent offerings such as selections from Johannes Brahms’s Fünf Gesänge and Claude Debussy’s Trois Chansons de Charles d’Orléans, and finishing in the present day – or night! – with Laura Mvula’s Sing to the Moon.
